    Hi Charles,

    With regard to the Theme Options > Post Options setting labeled "Show the Breadcrumbs", it appears that only the post title is being displayed and not any true breadcrumbs.

    For example, if my Post URL is:

    https://website.org/questions/where-are-the-breadcrumbs

    Then I would expect the breadcrumb to look like:
    Questions > Where Are the Breadcrumbs

    However, with the setting turned "on", the displayed breadcrumb is only:
    Where Are the Breadcrumbs

    Can you let me know if this is something that can be looked into?

    Thanks,
    G

    Hi Greg,

    Thanks for the question. I'm looking into this. Currently, the breadcrumb function is this:

    function passage_breadcrumbs() {
            global $post;
            $trail = '';
            $page_title = get_the_title($post->ID);

            if($post->post_parent) {
                $parent_id = $post->post_parent;

                while ($parent_id) {
                    $page = get_page($parent_id);
                    $breadcrumbs[] = '<a href="' . get_permalink($page->ID) . '">' . get_the_title($page->ID) . '</a> ยป ';
                    $parent_id = $page->post_parent;
                }

                $breadcrumbs = array_reverse($breadcrumbs);
                foreach($breadcrumbs as $crumb) $trail .= $crumb;
            }

            $trail .= $page_title;
            $trail .= '';
            return $trail;
        }

    This will probably come back to scope, but I'll have to consider some options based on your requirements. I originally used this function because the included/native WP breadcrumbs weren't working. Will try to have something this week.
